With forested mountains, west, and a high plateau, east, Oregon features 368 miles of public coastline, making it a popular destination for visitors. The Willamette Valley, where 70% of Oregonians live, features abundant rural landscapes, largely unchanged in 50 years, as farmland here is protected from development. Sitting atop the Cascade Range, Crater Lake formed 7,000 years ago when Mt Mazama blew its top. In Eastern Oregon, Steens Mtn lifts thick layers of basalt more than a mile above their surrounds. Hells Canyon cuts through basalt and into the older geology below.
This portrait lets you visualize the iconic elements of Oregon’s diverse and beautiful geography.
A unique geographic reference that doubles as eye-pleasing art, Portrait of Oregon is archival in quality, and fits standard pre-made picture frame sizes.
For close-up settings, such as hallways and scrapbooks, I recommend small sizes. For rooms where you'll view from a distance, I think you'd appreciate a larger size.
