#7 Geographic Enchantment

When we see dramatic landforms like mountains, canyons and arches, we’re enchanted that something like that could exist. Geography enriches our lives with enchantment that even ordinary landscapes, like broad plains, exist.

Geography, after all, is the observation and appreciation of our planet (and its people). It enchants us with the knowledge that every landform, high and low, is the result of 4.5 billion years of planetary forces.
